For those of you playing Magic back in 2007, you got to enjoy the odd fun of opening packs of Planar Chaos. This set was meant to take place in an alternate timeline where some iconic cards were "plane-shifted" into different colors than their original printing. Some examples being Wrath of God being printed in black as Damnation or this weird take on Serra Angel:

It was definitely a fun time to be playing with cardboard. But Wizards of the Coast has been doing this for years across many sets in Magic's history. In this video we are going to look at a bunch of cool examples in black. We'll share some of our favorites below, but you will want to scope out the video for even more oddballs to put in your next commander deck. Tinybones, Trinket Thief anyone?
