Prowling at the edges of Standard, Wolves are an odd tribe with support cards that aren't even Wolves themselves: Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves and Garruk, Cursed Huntsman. With these two cards in play you can generate new attackers every turn, while gaining life and eating all your opponent's geese.
The actual Wolves of Standard, Nightpack Ambusher and Wicked Wolf, are powerful but too slow for a straight-up aggro deck. Instead, they support a midrange strategy of never-ending two-for-ones.
Green-based midrange doesn't exactly break the mold for this Standard format, but Wolves add a fresh flavor to this familiar archetype.
