Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer is becoming a tremendous finisher in the Pendulum era. With 2850 ATK it offers big damage and just enough attack power to outmuscle several other big bosses, but the real gem is its effect: pop a Pendulum card from anywhere on the field, and you can shuffle any card back into its owner's deck.

You can send one of your own Pendulums to the Extra Deck or destroy an opposing card to disrupt your opponent's Pendulum Scale or clear the way for your attacks. Since you target the Pendulum card you destroy, you don't target whatever you're shuffling away. That makes Ignister Prominence a great counter to un-targetable stuff like Kozmo Dark Destroyer and Kozmo Forerunner, as well as a permanent answer to opposing Pendulums that deprives your opponent's Extra Deck.

How do you Summon it? We're seeing players run Ignister with Tuners like Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer, Masked Chameleon, and Genex Ally Birdman, so it's seeing play in Performage Pendulums, Performage Majespecters, Pure Majespecters, and even farflung themes like Zefra Yang Zings. With Masked Chameleon and Pendulum Monsters offering recursive Synchro Materials players are Summoning Ignister multiple times in one Duel...though Summoning it once is often enough to win the game anyway.

Expect to see Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer at the forefront of competition over the coming weeks. It's an amazing counter to the most popular decks today, and it's really easy to play in any Pendulum strategy. If you're running Pendulums yourself it's an absolute must, and it's one of the defining cards that puts a damper on Kozmos.
