Hello and welcome back! The Pro Tour is over and I am sure we will be seeing all sorts of Modern backlash over the next week or so, but in the meantime, I have been battling Standard brews, and this week, I wanted to bring you some of those battles. While I normally resort to text format, that changes today, as we are going to try our hand at some videos! I hope to bring both types of content going forward, so be sure to let me know what you think.

This week, I sleeved up some digital Forests and colorless aliens:

I have been working on this list for a little while and like a lot of what the deck can do. Most ramp shells need some kind of early game sweeper or reset button to make it to the late game, but with mono green, we rely on midrange options and life gain to accomplish that, causing the deck to play out quite differently than something like R/G Ramp. This is a deck that can play many different roles against various competition so I will note that the sideboard is hardly set in stone and is more of an experimental toolbox right now while I land somewhere I am happy with.

If you have any feedback about the videos, please be sure to let me know in the comments below as this is my first time using this formatting. Until next week, keep casting Ulamog!
